Free Utility for Inspecting Cognex Dataman Devices
This free utility is a demo of what the BarcodeSink library can be used to build.
This utility will connect to any Cognex Dataman cameras on your network, display a list of them, notify you when a scan occurs, and save a snapshot of each scan to your computer. Runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It's great for debugging and it's 100% free.
Any Cognex cameras running in client mode will connect to the compatibility demo server. When the scanner is triggered, the scanner panel will flash green and an image of the scan will appear in a temporary directory.
